Los Juanones

LOS JUANONES

An app your home can't refuse.

Back in 1700, in a village of barely 143 souls, lived the Castaño family, farmers by trade. From this family, in 1721, was born Don Alfredo Castaño, and from his marriage to Doña Cristina de Rivas Miguel came eight tall, strapping sons — so famous that across the whole region they went by a single name: «Los Juanones». A tight-knit family, burly and feared, who laid down their own Law. Very handy, too, with the tools of the time.

But don't be fooled by that «farmers by trade» bit. For show, sure: wheat, potatoes, onions, chickpeas and the odd vineyard. In truth, the Juanones were way ahead of their time. Legend has it —and in this family the legends are told in a whisper— that when the rest of the village slept, they lit the forge and forged their own spoons in the fire: one for each stew, tempered like a sword, able to stir a pot for three days without bending. They didn't farm the land: they cooked it. And from the border to the mountains not a pot was set to boil without their blessing.

Two centuries later, the surname remains, the cooking remains, and so does their Law. And that Law, try as you might, follows you: a house doesn't run itself, and someone has to remind you. So we put it in an app.

Welcome to the family. The Law of the Juanones no longer rules the region alone: now it rules your home. And making sure you keep yours in order… that's Don Alfredo's job.
